All Natural feed Our feeds contain only all natural ingredients.
There are no artificial ingredients in any of our feed. This is something that we firmly believe in, we feed our own animals with our locally produced feed. From our farm to yours.
Probiotics health We include a wide array of probiotics in our feed.
Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that animals need for proper digestion. These microorganisms provide health benefits when consumed and are associated with beneficial effects to animals. The addition of probiotics helps your animal efficiently digest the feed you provide.
Non-GMO feed Our products are strictly non-gmo.
Non-GMO means that our feed does not contain any genetically modified organisms of any kind. It is our belief that enough evidence exists showing GMO’s as a detriment to animal health to preclude the use of ANY gmo ingredients in our feed.
What are GMOs?
GMOs, or “genetically modified organisms,” are plants or animals that have been genetically engineered with DNA from bacteria, viruses, or other plants and animals.
These experimental combinations of genes from different species cannot occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding. Virtually all commercial GMOs are engineered to withstand direct application of herbicide and/or to produce an insecticide.
Despite biotech industry promises, none of the GMO traits currently on the market offer increased yield, drought tolerance, enhanced nutrition, or any other consumer benefit. Meanwhile, a growing body of evidence connects GMOs with health problems, environmental damage and violation of farmers’ and consumers’ rights.
Most developed nations do not consider GMOs to be safe. In more than 60 countries around the world, including Australia, Japan, and all of the countries in the European Union, there are significant restrictions or outright bans on the production and sale of GMOs.
In the United States, our government has approved GMOs based on studies conducted by the same corporations that created them and profit from their sale. Increasingly, Americans are taking matters into their own hands and choosing to opt out of the GMO experiment.
Feeds made with GMO ingredients have been shown to have reduced digestibility. In fact some studies of dairy cattle have shown an inhibition of gut bacteria (needed for digestion) and even in extreme cases promotion of botulism in the animals’ intestines.
